GEOMETRY IS THE POETRY OF MATHEMATICS

I have always looked upon decay as just as wonderful and rich an expression of life as growth.

In 2000 I used other materials like plywood, glass, cardboard. Colours were introduced and the scene set in a corner of my studio in Norway. The installations became very temporary as they were often built in height and soon fell apart. I enjoy this fragility that gives a certain transparence and lightness, so I call them INSTABLE VARIABLES.

I mostly used a Minolta Dimage 7, but also Nikon CoolPix 700 and Sony Cyber-shot. After some work with the images in Photoshop, they are printed with Epson Sylus Photo R800 and collected in small books. Later I used a 10.2 Mb. Casio Exilim.
